Kelly Wearstler elevates luxury tableware with vibrant and playful graphic twists in her collaboration with Serax
INTERNI INSPIRATION
American designer Kelly Wearstler makes a remarkable tableware debut in collaboration with Belgian design brand Serax. With roots in ancient Greek pottery and the natural world, Wearstler unveils the ‘Dune’ and ‘Zuma’ collections as tactile ensembles of graphic-patterned tableware.
In addition to porcelain tableware, Kelly Wearstler created glassware in amber hues that were so widely used in antique and vintage glassware around the world. The unique color progression effect is obtained by using three layers of glass: the amber-colored mass is injected in between two layers of transparent glass. The airy, breezy color contrasts beautifully with the distinctive, thick glass base and the pared-down, straight shape of these tumbler glasses.
